Analogy (Similarity)
Analogy tests check your ability to identify relationships between pairs of words, numbers, or letters. You need to understand the logic and apply it to find the correct answer.
What is Analogy?
Analogy questions are based on comparisons and logic. A specific relationship is established between two items and the same relationship needs to be found in the next pair.
Types of Analogy:
- Word-based Analogy

- Apply the same logic or function to complete the second pair.
- Categorize the analogy: object-function, cause-effect, place-product, etc.
- Eliminate clearly incorrect options first to save time.
- Practice regularly with mixed sets of analogies to improve speed.
